Community Governor

There is an opportunity to undertake the role of Community Governor at Woburn Lower School.  The Governing Body is supported by an active group of Governors and a new member would be very welcomed by the team.

During the past few years Woburn Lower School has increased its numbers and build further on their Outstanding Ofsted report received in 2010/2011.  The Governing Body are looking to continue that process.

The role would involve attending approximately 4 formal meetings a year and visits to the school from time to time.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with a consistent track record of outstanding teaching to work in an ‘Outstanding’ small rural school in the lovely village of Woburn. Key stage 1 is taught in a mixed year 1 & Year 2 class.

This position would also suit an outstanding NQT.
