Community Governor

Are you interested in supporting your local school?

There is an opportunity to undertake the role of Community Governor at Woburn Lower School.  The Governing Body is supported by an active group of Governors and a new member would be very welcomed by the team.

During the past few years Woburn Lower School has increased its numbers and build further on their Outstanding Ofsted report received in 2010/2011.  The Governing Body are looking to continue that process.

The role would involve attending approximately 4 formal meetings a year and visits to the school from time to time.

Midday Supervisor

Scale: NJC Scale 7 - 10 (16,495 - 16,863) full time equivalent
Hours: 3 Days a week 11.55am - 1.05pm (Mon, Tues & Thurs)

The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to work
11.55am - 1.05pm 3 days a week, term time only.  This is a permanent position.

The successful applicant will work as part of a small team supervising pupils and promoting positive play.  No previous experience needed.
