Welcome to our School Website
Woburn Lower School is a caring, friendly school located in the centre of the historic village of Woburn. We teach children from Reception to Year 4 (age 3+ to 9+). Our school is a Tudor building built in 1582. Woburn Abbey and the Safari Park are part of our immediate environment. We have strong links with our neighbour The Heritage Centre, using its valuable resources for history projects.
We believe in equality of opportunity for all our pupils, regardless of age, racial background, gender and ability. The children work in a happy, safe, family atmosphere where they are encouraged to work hard and care for others. Children, staff, parents and governors work together to educate ‘the whole child’ to enable him/her to leave our school prepared for life in their next school and in the larger world.
